CAMRIS Attends the World Vaccine Congress 2026

CAMRIS team members supporting the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR) Pilot Bioproduction Facility (PBF) were honored to actively participate in the 26th World Vaccine Congress, held March 30-April 2, 2026, at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC. Gathering global leaders, innovators, and experts, the congress enabled robust discussion and exchange on the latest breakthroughs and best practices influencing the future of vaccine development and public health.

A highlight this year was the prominent role of our Senior Scientist and Business Development Manager, Dr. Jennifer Grossman, who served as Chair of the “Manufacturing Innovations and Processes” session on April 2nd. Dr. Grossman led the session’s opening and steered technical dialogue on advanced manufacturing solutions, process optimization, and the future trajectory of vaccine production, reflecting CAMRIS’s thought leadership in bioproduction.

Additionally, CAMRIS showcased its comprehensive biomanufacturing capabilities through the poster presentation, “Full Spectrum Biomanufacturing Support for Phase I at WRAIR’s Pilot Bioproduction Facility,” presented by Dr. Grossman during interactive networking breaks and poster sessions. This presentation highlighted how PBF’s integrated support structure accelerates early-phase clinical development and enables rapid response to emerging infectious disease threats.

Our CAMRIS MSAT (Manufacturing Science and Technology) and Quality Control teams attended keynotes and technical sessions focused on innovations in vaccine analytics, process automation, scalable manufacturing, AI-enabled analytical platforms, and next-generation quality control protocols. Team members networked directly with CMO partners, suppliers, and global vaccine leaders, while gathering knowledge critical for advancing PBF’s mission, particularly in areas of mRNA manufacturing, nanoparticle vaccine technology, and workflow optimization for product release.

Engagements at the World Vaccine Congress 2026 further elevated PBF’s growing visibility in the vaccine ecosystem. CAMRIS team members held productive meetings with current and prospective collaborators, funders, and CDMO partners, driving valuable connections and actionable insights to inform and enhance our support for WRAIR’s evolving mission. Participation in such prestigious forums not only advances CAMRIS staff expertise but also supports PBF’s strategic priorities, enabling rapid, high-quality, and scalable vaccine innovation for military and global public health needs.

We thank the event organizers, speakers, and all participants for making the 2026 Congress such a dynamic and impactful platform. CAMRIS looks forward to further leveraging the knowledge, momentum, and partnerships created at this event to serve our stakeholders and fulfill our mission of accelerating solutions to pressing health challenges.
