CAMRIS Attends the World Vaccine Congress 2024

CAMRIS HQ and team members supporting the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research’s Pilot Bioproduction Facility (PBF) thoroughly enjoyed attending the World Vaccine Congress 2024, held in Washington, DC, from April 1st to 4th. The event was filled with innovation, collaboration, and forward-thinking biologics and vaccine development strategies.

The presentations, panel discussions, and interactive sessions were inspiring. They focused on emerging and infectious diseases, market access, safety, manufacture and bioprocessing, and supply and logistics, among other areas. These sessions provided invaluable opportunities to delve into the latest science, emerging trends, and best practices shaping the future of the vaccine industry.

CAMRIS truly valued the opportunity to engage with various stakeholders, including CMO groups, equipment vendors, product vendors, and other esteemed colleagues from the industry. Our discussions were both enlightening and productive, and we are excited to carry the momentum generated and leverage the insights gained and connections forged at the World Vaccine Congress 2024 to drive early clinical production at PBF. We believe that by combining our expertise, resources, and capabilities, we can make significant strides in advancing the development of vaccines and therapeutics for infectious disease threats in support of our service members and ultimately contribute to improving global public health.

Thank you to the organizers for an outstanding event. We appreciated the opportunity to participate in such a distinguished gathering of industry leaders, experts, and innovators. The knowledge gained, and connections made during the congress will undoubtedly have a lasting impact on our endeavors.
