Each year, millions of women and children experience illness or death from largely preventable or treatable causes. CAMRIS partners with governments, academic institutions, civil society, non-governmental organizations, private organizations, and other partners. Through these relationships, we work to mobilize resources, expand access to quality and respectful health care and health services for women and children regardless of where they live, and increase health knowledge. We plan, create, and analyze interventions to address the causes of poor health and promote resilience among women and children. Further, we strengthen health systems to improve policies on quality of care, the integration and delivery of health services, the capacity and performance of health workers, and the management of health programs.
