Welcome! Available in this space are several DOS programs and documentation. These materials are provided at no charge and may be copied at will, except that they may not be rented or sold. Technical support is limited to materials available on this web site.
DOS CAMRIS Update Packages
These include the latest program version and menu files, as well as documentation on the update procedure. Separate update packages are provided for users of the 8mb and 16mb versions.
DOS CAMRIS Installation Materials
NOTE: If you use the installation package to reinstall CAMRIS, this may overwrite your existing data. If you have an existing CAMRIS installation, you should use the Update Package instead.
Complete Package: This self-extracting archive (9mb) contains the complete contents of the installation CD, including manuals in English and Spanish. Expanding this archive will require 25mb of disk space.
Compressed Installation Diskettes: These files correspond to the installation diskettes described in the manual. In zipped form, each is less than 1mb in size. In order to follow the installation instructions in the manual, each file should be UNZIPPED onto a separate diskette. Manuals may be downloaded separately (see below).

These are compressed files which unzip to Word 97 documents. Volume 1 contains basic tutorial exercises, Volume 2 contains reference material, including descriptions of menu options, and Volume 3 contains advanced exercises.
CAMRIS-ArcView-CAMRIS Translation package
This includes a translation program for converting CAMRIS overlays to ArcView Shape files and back again, as well as documentation in two formats.

iVIEWand iCUT work with images and SLIDE97 is a slideshow program. ALCHEMY is a zipped file to be unzipped into its own directory. It contains a limited copy of Image Alchemy for DOS and the batch file (CM3GIF.BAT) and palette file (CM3PAL) needed to convert images saved from CAMRIS for DOS.
